ALL SET FOR SATURDAY’S CCIC WALK FOR CHRIST…As organisers release details

The CCIC Walk for Christ scheduled for Saturday October 5 will take off from the car park opposite the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos at 7am. Details released by the organising team of the event, which is actually three events in one, show that the walkers for Christ will be divided into two groups passing through two different routes. One party will go from National Stadium through Iponri, Bode Thomas Street to Census area and end at CCIC, Surulere Centre at Okanlawon Ajayi Street, Off Masha Street through Adelabu Street. The other group, which will also take off from the National Stadium, will navigate through Ojuelegba, Itire Road, Ogunlana Drive and Akerele Road, ending at the same CCIC Surulere centre.   But that is not the end of the day’s event. (CONTINUES BELOW)   According to the organisers, the Walk for Christ will be followed by an inter-centre sports and games competition and a love feast. Among games That will feature at the competition are Table Tennis, Chess, Scrabble and Ludo. Others are Monopoly, Skipping, Ten-Ten and many more. Prizes, including I-Pads will be awarded to winners.
