SATURDAY SPECIALS @ CAMPMEETING 20!6

MUSIC, COMEDY ONLY...WITH A WORKSHOP IN BETWEEN!

Saturdays are special at CCIC campmeetings and this year's is not about to be different. Beginning this morning with the highly impactful YES (Youth Empowerment Station), the day will progress with a Workshop at noon and climax right after that with the annual Gospel Music Jamz.

You may have heard that this year's YES is essentially a worship event  and YES, it is!  It will feature Guests Olumide Iyun, a Christ Chapel Alumnus with an uncanny gifting to charge any atmosphere with the presence of the Holy Spirit from his first strike on the keyboard and Jimi Odukoya, son of Fountain of Life Church's Pastor Taiwo. And of course there are our very own, Christine Joda, who needs no introduction and the ever-ready, versatile CCIC Levites. Both Christine and the Levites, whose immense contributions to the unique worship experience that Campmeeting 2016 has been will be back in the Father's business barely two hours later.

Christine, the young and spritely daughter of the Senior and Founding Pastors of Christ Chapel International Churches, Reverend Dr Tunde and Reverend (Mrs) Ebun Joda is simply a chip off the old Faith block! She has risen to become one of the influential gospel psalmists of her generation.

Born into the Lord, serves in the Lord’s vineyard with her songs, she is all that spells faith with expression in her love for the Lord. Based in the United Kingdom, she has blossomed over the years and today, she is in the forefront of young and talented gospel artistes who are pointing the way forward for the next generation. With her electric stage performance and sonorous voice, the ease with which both the young and old connect with Christine and her music is a rarity difficult to fathom. That indeed is the charm of this future hope of gospel music from Africa.

And the CCIC Levites? You can be forgiven to say that without theCCIC Levites, Campmeetings would not be the same. Year after year, the praise and worship arm of the ministry of Christ Chapel International Churches popularly called the Levites, continues to tell the story of angelic voice ministration in captivating styles.

The ever ecclesiastic CCIC Levites which is described by the Senior and Founding Pastor of the ministry, Rev Dr Tunde Joda as, “primarily a praise and worship ministry with an interest in contemporary music”, has sustained the ministry’s enduring legacy of providing world class gospel music to Christendom. Under the current leadership of Pastor Andrew Eweka, whose birthday it is today (Happy Birthday, Andrew) The Levites will be living up to the Excellent reputation built over the years.

Now check out the guest ministers:

SAMMIE OKPOSO

Okposo’s roots stems from performing with his church choir, today he is flourishing doing what he loves most – singing to the praise of the Almighty. However,in the circular world, Okposo came into reckoning with the numerous sound tracks he makes for the Nigeria Movie Industry.

His breakthrough came in the year 2000 with his debut album: Unconditional Love. The hit track of the album “WELU-WELU” became an instant hit locally and abroad such that by 2004, this passionate artiste was invited to perform at the Martin Luther King Day and July 4th Independence day Celebration respectively by then American ambassador to Nigeria.

Okposo combines singing with managing his business (Zamar Entertainment) and other talents the Lord has blessed him with. Currently he is a Globacom ambassador, United Nations Youth Ambassador for World Peace, vocal coach, music producer/director, entertainment consultant, and conducts the affairs of Sammie Okposo Hope Initiative, among other things.

TIM GODFREY
With his unique contemporary sound which is a fusion of western fills into African music, Tim Godfrey has given gospel music in Nigeria and beyond added value and this contribution to gospel music stands him out among his peers.

The music industry embraced Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme with open hands when he introduced this fusion of African rhythm with Western Gospel musical style. Greatest of all his contribution however is the sustenance of his musical journey each time taking his performance to higher height.

Tim Godfrey and Xtreme is a delight on stage and out of the stage, they are a bunch of humble Christians who just loves what they are doing.

Tim Godfrey fame reached a new height when he co-ordinated the band that performed for the Nigerian artistes that were nominated for the KORA AWARDS 2005, while his crew performed at the GHANA MUSIC AWARD 2006 alongside Sammie Okposo at the award concert.

FRANK EDWARDS
There are often not adequate words and letters to capture the musical prowess of this young gospel artiste. He is best described through the fusion of the audience’s heart and the spirit behind his musical at every performance.

The first time he graced Campmeeting in 2014, the freshness of rendition was so soul-lifting and spirit-filled that one of the ministers of the gospel with many decades behind him reminisced: “that young man’s worship (Frank Edwards) is so very anointed that it is very impactful and brings down the presence of God.”

That is the typical mood that Frank Edwards brings to bear upon the atmosphere of every Christian gathering where he performs. Simple, unencumbered and tenacious; he attracts the best from heaven when he lifts his voice in worship.

CHRISTINE JODA
Before the very eyes of those who knew her as the young and spritely daughter of the Senior and Founding Pastors of Christ Chapel International Churches, Reverend Dr Tunde and Reverend (Mrs) Ebun Joda; this young lady has grown into one of the influential gospel artistes of her generation.

Born into the Lord, serves in the Lord’s vineyard with her songs, she is all that spells faith with expression in her love for the Lord.

DON'T TAKE THIS CONFERENCE FOR GRANTED...

TAIWO ODUKOYA WARNS…As Campmeeting 2016 opens in Lagos

Campmeeting 2016 took off to a roaring start yesterday. As if demonstrating dominion power, all elements came together to make it a memorable start to a conference on home ground with home-based and home-grown ministers only.

Rev Mike Olorogun...ministering
Following two powerful ministrations at the Afternoon session by home-greats Rev Bayo Oniwinde, one of CCIC’s gifts to the world, just back from yet another international ministry trip, and Rev Mike Olorogun, the insightful teacher of the word from the London, UK centre, you could be excused for wondering if you would miss anything if you headed home at that point! Trouble is you would have missed a lot – a great lot!

The Evening session with Pastor Taiwo Odukoya  of Fountain of Life Church FoLC) and Rev Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) was simply indescribable! So, brethren, dearest, if you missed it, you just have to go get the audio or video recording which are available at the Fresh Word Media stand at the 15, Akin Mateola Street, Amuwo-Odofin International Headquarters Auditorium venue of the Conference. Akin Mateola street is off Raji Rasaki Road, off Festac Link-bridge Road which is off the famous Oshodi-Isolo-Mile2 expressway.
However here are a few teasers.

Pastor Taiwo’s message titled I BELIEVE was vintage Word of faith with a lot Holy Spirit-led Confessions and many prophetic declarations into the lives of those present. Early in his ministration, receiving in his spirit the great and mighty thing God will do at Campmeeting 2016, he paused, shook his head and warned… “whatever you do, don’t take this conference for granted”

What's Your AREA!

Pastor Fatoyinbo, who refused to be seen as a new face at Campmeeting for the simple reason that he had been a beneficiary of the Chief Host’s ministry since the 80s, began a series based on the acrostic, D-O-M-I-N-I-O-N. The opener may well be titled “AREA!” or “What is your Area?” taken from the first ‘D’ for discover your domain or your area. It was deep and exciting. The series continues all day today with one ministration each at the Morning, Afternoon and Evening sessions. DO NOT MISS IT.

Also ministering this morning is Rev Mike Olorogun.

AS CAMPMEETING 2016 OPENS IN LAGOS...

A WARM WELCOME FROM THE SENIOR PASTORS
Rev Dr & Rev Mrs Tunde & Ebun Joda

It is with great joy that we welcome you to Campmeeting 2016 and to state how excited we are to share fellowship with you for the next five days in God's presence. The Bible says in His presence there is fullness of joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forever more; get ready to experience the fullness of joy throughout this Campmeeting. God has great plans for you and your family, plans to prosper you, to give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). You have a bright future in God. (continues below)

During this five days of Campmeeting, get ready to receive the uncompromised word of God from anointed and seasoned men and women of God; words that will impact you and bring a transformation into your lives. Remember faith is laying hold of the unrealities of hope and bringing them into the realm of reality (by acting on the Word). You can lay hold on the promises of God by faith and it will produce fruit in your life.

We believe God that you will begin to Walk in Dominion – in your health, your prosperity, your marriage, your children, your relationships and your dreams. As you put your trust in God, you will Walk in Dominion and you will never be put to shame.

It is a new day, a new season for new beginnings. Have faith in God and make a bold declaration:

"Because God has given me dominion over all that He created,
Nothing can hinder me from fulfilling my destiny,
Everything answers to me,
I walk in Dominion
Therefore I cannot be defeated,
I will never quit and I will never give up,
God’s blessing enables me to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth
No lack for me, no insufficiency around me,
The Favour of God is on my life,
It will make a way for me where there is no way and
It will open doors of opportunities to me, in Jesus name".

Welcome to  Campmeeting 2016.
Be blessed; your lives will never be the same again. It is your turn to testify of the goodness of God in your life. It is your turn to be celebrated and people will laugh with you, not at you. God will fill your mouth with laughter and your tongue with rejoicing.

Congratulations that you are WALKING IN DOMINION. God bless you more.

WHO'S WHO @ THE REGIONS

ADEBARA, OFFIONG, ADETOMIWA SET FOR CALABAR AS OARHE & OGORRY RETURN TO PORT HARCOURT

Rev Mrs Ibukun Offiong (Calabar)
As we were saying Christ Chapel International Churches has had the privilege of attracting a formidable army of Word of Faith warriors for Campmeeting 2016 not just in Lagos but also at four other venues in Nigeria.
Apart from Dr Tunde Bakare, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Dr Paul Enenche and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, in Lagos, you have met, in brief, Pastor Tokunbo Adejuwon and Dr Andy Osakwe ministering in Abuja and Rev Dr Femi Oduwole in Ibadan.

The good news is the Dominion army marching into Port Harcourt and Calabar is no less intimidating to the kingdom of darkness!

Check out Pastor Essa Ogorry, the senior pastor of the Fulfilling-Word Foundation (FWF) which styles itself as the place where ordinary people are turned into stars; where lives are transformed and people taught to live above the troubles and harassments that sin brought into the world.

Rev Olu Adetomiwa (Calabar)
With headquarters at the Fulfilling Word Close,Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt, FWF has several branches in Southern Nigeria and its built around a vision received by Pastor Essa Ogorry in 1998, while he was meditating on the twenty-third Psalm.
It’s a vision of a flock enjoying absolute rest from the struggle and frustration of life and complete fulfilment resulting from dynamic, Holy Ghost-breathed shepherding. Flowing from the vision is a ministry where the Word ministered comes alive with powerful proofs, miracles and testimonies in the lives of the members.  That is what this man of God, who has ministered in time past during our CCIC Port Harcourt Regional Campmeeting brings to Campmeeting 2016 at the same venue.  He is married to Pastor Tonye Ogorry and they are blessed with children.

Rev Solomon Adebara (Calabar)
Another Port Harcourt Regional Campmeeting regular is Reverend Chris Oarhe, Senior Pastor, Hilltop International Christian Centre, a Church he planted in June 1993 with headquarters in the Rivers state capital.

Yet another professional on the pulpit, Pastor Oarhe is an optometry graduate of the University of Benin, with several years of experience in clinical optometry to his credit having served as resident optometrist in various leading establishments covering seven different states in Nigeria. His wide range of experience in leadership development and management combines with the anointing and deep knowledge of the Bible to make him an exceptional pastor, teacher, seminar speaker and author.
Rev Chris Oarhe (PH)
He is married to Rev Dr (Mrs) Stephanie Oarhe and they are blessed with children.

At the Calabar Campmeeting venue is Reverend Solomon Adebara, Senior Pastor of Fountain of Grace Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo State. No stranger to CCIC Campmeetings, having ministered a number of times in Lagos, he is a graduate of the University of Lagos, Nigeria who has, over the years, been used of God to train and mentor many servants of God.
